Edward Earl Fields, age 76, passed away Wednesday morning, June 6, 2012 at Brookhaven Manor in Kingsport, TN.

Earl was of the Baptist faith. He served 4 years in the US Air Force from June 11, 1953 to June 11, 1957; and was previously employed at Holliston Mills, Church Hill, TN.

Earl was preceded in death by his daughter: Phyllis Ann Fields, parents: Ed and Emma Fields, brother: Bob Fields and sisters: Nellie Fields, Tilda Charles, and Eulah Manis.

He is survived by 2 sons: Philip and Darrell Fields and their families. Four sisters: Janie Trent, Faye Barrett, Helen Manis and Virginia Hickman, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 12 noon until 2:00 PM, at Colboch-Price Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2:00 with Elder Pat Hammond and Elder Donnie Bishop officiating.

Interment will follow in Lee Charles Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Tennessee National Guard and the Hawkins County Color Guard.
